Terms of Service
Last Updated: October 30, 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of adorouter's website, API services, and any related services (collectively, the "Services"). By accessing or using the Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Service Overview
adorouter operates as an independent AI model API aggregator, enabling users to access third-party AI models through a unified API. adorouter is not affiliated with or endorsed by the companies that make those models. Responses are generated by AI and can be wrong. We reserve the right to add, modify, or remove available models and features at any time.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use the Services. If you are under 18, you must have parental or guardian consent. If you are using the Services on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that entity to these Terms.
3. Account Registration
You sign in with a Discord account that has a verified email address and is a member of our Discord server. You agree to keep your account information accurate. You are solely responsible for keeping your API keys confidential and for all activities that occur under your account.
4. Payment Terms
Access to the Services requires credits. Payments are handled by Creem, our merchant of record, which is the seller of your purchase and handles any tax due. Creem's terms apply to the purchase.
- Credits: Credits are purchased in advance, shown in US dollars, and deducted as you use the Services at the provider's list price plus our margin. Some providers charge less at off-peak times, so the same request can cost different amounts at different times. The minimum top-up is $5. New accounts may receive one small free credit, once per Discord account, even if the account is deleted and created again. Credits have no cash value and cannot be transferred.
- Refunds: Refunds are handled under our Refund Policy.
- Expiration: Purchased credits do not expire.
Invite Program
You can share an invite link. When someone you invited tops up, you may earn a share of their first top-ups as an affiliate balance you can move to your credits. It is never paid out in cash, and inviting yourself does not count. We may change or end the program and remove rewards earned through abuse.
Reselling
You may not resell or share access to the Services without our written authorization. Authorized resellers must pass these Terms and the Acceptable Use Policy on to their customers.
5. User Content and Data
You retain ownership of the content you submit through the Services ("User Content"). Ownership of AI-generated outputs depends on the terms of the specific AI model used. We do not use your User Content to train AI models. You grant us a limited license to process your User Content solely for the purpose of providing the Services.
6. Providers in Third Countries and Data Transfers
(1) Some providers through which adorouter offers models in the model catalog are based in a third country that is neither covered by an adequacy decision of the European Commission nor has agreed appropriate safeguards within the meaning of Art. 46 GDPR with adorouter. The country of such a provider is referred to below as an "unsafe third country". These providers either offer their own models or give access to models of other developers. All offers of these providers are marked as such in the model catalog, stating the country where they are based ("marked offers"). The same model may also be available through other providers. Their offers are not marked. (2) When you use a marked offer, your inputs, including any personal data they contain, are transferred to the respective unsafe third country. The level of data protection in these third countries is not comparable to that in the European Union. In particular, authorities there sometimes have far-reaching powers to access data, and data subjects do not have equivalent rights and legal remedies. No appropriate safeguards within the meaning of Art. 46 GDPR exist for these transfers. Further information is provided in the privacy policy. (3) DeepSeek is based in China and is currently such a provider. For consumers, providing the marked offers is part of the contractual service of adorouter. The contractual service consists of two elements: the model and the provision route, meaning the provider through which the model is provided. What is owed is always the specifically selected model via the specifically selected provider. Consumers must not enter or otherwise transmit personal data of third parties when using marked offers. This also applies to files, images and other content from which third parties can be identified. Because of the risks described in paragraph 2, adorouter advises against entering your own personal data as well. Consumers can avoid the transfer of their personal data to unsafe third countries at any time by not using marked offers or by not entering personal data into them. (4) adorouter currently does not offer accounts for business customers. Marked offers are not available to business customers. adorouter routes requests from business customers exclusively through providers that are based in the European Union or the European Economic Area, are covered by an adequacy decision of the European Commission, or have agreed appropriate safeguards within the meaning of Art. 46 GDPR (in particular standard contractual clauses). (5) Some models are provided through providers that also use inputs for their own purposes, in particular to train AI models; this applies to free and paid models alike. Providers that have not published how they handle inputs are treated in the same way. Such models are marked when a model is selected. If such a provider is based in an unsafe third country, adorouter obtains a separate consent to the transfer before the first use, naming the country of establishment. The consent relates to the providers through which the model is provided at the time of consent; if another such provider is added, a new consent is required. The consent can be withdrawn at any time. Consumers may object at any time, on grounds relating to their particular situation, to their inputs being passed to such providers (Art. 21(1) GDPR); after an objection, adorouter no longer forwards their inputs to these providers, and models that are only available through such providers are no longer available to them. Consumers must not enter special categories of personal data within the meaning of Art. 9(1) GDPR, such as health data, into such models. Details are provided in the privacy policy.
7. Prohibited Conduct
You agree not to use the Services to violate any applicable laws or regulations; create false identities or impersonate others; engage in automated scraping or data mining; infringe on third-party intellectual property rights; attempt to disrupt, overload, or interfere with the Services; engage in fraudulent activity; resell access to your account without authorization; or generate, request, or distribute sexually explicit, pornographic, or NSFW content, including AI-generated content, child sexual abuse material, non-consensual sexual content, or deepfake and face-swap imagery. You are responsible for the outputs generated from your use of the Services. Your use of the Services is also governed by our Acceptable Use Policy.
8. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for any reason, including violation of these Terms. Upon termination (except for violations), any remaining unused credits may be refunded at our discretion. You may delete your account at any time in Settings, which ends access to any remaining credits.
9. Intellectual Property
All rights in adorouter's name, logo and content are and will remain the property of adorouter. The software is built on open source projects, including new-api and unorouter, which remain under their own licenses. Our source code is published at github.com/adorouter under the AGPL-3.0 license.
10. Disclaimer of Warranties

WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICES WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE.
11. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, adorouter SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICES. OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNTS PAID BY YOU IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS ($100), WHICHEVER IS GREATER.
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless adorouter from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses arising from your use of the Services, your violation of these Terms, or your infringement of any third-party rights.
13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Belgium. If you are a consumer, this does not take away the mandatory protections of the country where you live.
14. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will show you the updated Terms when you next sign in, and you will need to accept them to keep using your account.
